Winter Activities

Want to spend a few days in the Snowies? Why should you drive 45 minutes back to Laramie for a hotel when you can stay with us and literally sleep in the National Forest? In the winter, snowmobilers will find the trails to be some of the best in the country and you can ride your sled right to your front porch. You can bring your family, and they can spend the day skiing at Snowy Range Ski area, only 2 miles down the road if they enjoy downhill skiing, and with the state basing its trail groomer out of the Lodge this winter the cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails will start just feet from your front door. With an average snowfall of over 250 inches there is never a shortage of powder to explore. View a trail map HERE.

Activities include: Snowmobiling, Downhill and Cross-Country Skiing, Snow Shoeing, Sledding, and Ice Fishing! Just to name a few.

Downhill Skiing

Not only does the immediate area offer some of the best snowmobiling in the country, but there is also a ski area 2 miles from our Lodge. Whether your whole group wants to spend a day on the slopes or you're looking for something for the kids to do for a day this is ideal. For more information visit Snowy Range Ski Area.
